II-Kaya Ises, a professional model and proud Rastafarian, has deep roots in Alkebulan (Africa). After making her way from Trinidad & Tobago to the United States as a teenager for her education, II-Kaya began her modeling career several years later. Since then, she has evolved from a sweet young flower girl to a powerful woman with a divine purpose and virtuous character.
She is determined to inspire and demonstrate to the world that even from the humblest beginnings, anyone can achieve anything they set their minds to.
Although she works in an industry that many consider "babylonian," she stands out as a rare exception. She remains steadfast in her faith and never compromises her values, always honoring her ancestors while seeking new and innovative ways to uplift and inspire others with her naturally exquisite beauty.
It takes great courage to trod these realms as both a Rasta and a model, and II-Kaya fearlessly lives an unconventional life. Rather than denouncing her faith for personal gain, she boldly accepts the pressure from the general public. She firmly believes that a pure heart, dedicated to selflessly serving humanity, owes no explanations to anyone but the Almighty.
Her achievements speak for themselves, as she has been published in several magazines and graced their covers. She is the face of the official reggae clothing brand Cooyah, and has won several titles, including Miss Caricom Queen 2015, model of the year at the AEAUSA in 2018 and is now an ambassador for the organization, covering the Caribbean diaspora.
II-Kaya has also made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, where she only takes on lead roles in music videos. She has appeared in several music videos, including Brickell with Yohan Marley being the most recent. She is also an accomplished host, having hosted the last virtual AEAUSA award show in 2022 and Art Basel 2022 with DigitalSelf and Digital Medium at the Miami Super Car Room.
